Integrative Manual therapy





Integrative Manual Therapy is based on the assumption that most health problems, chronic or acute, are caused from dysfunction that prevent the body or mind from self-healing. Developed by Sharon Weiselfish-Giametto, IMT is a holistic system of treating the dysfunction of the central nervous system, to re-establish the body's innate healing ability. The treatment uses a non-invasive, light touch technique. IMT treats the root cause of the pain, dysfunction, disease and disability. It is based on the concept that all elements (muscles, synapses, bones, organs, blood vessels, nerves, membranes) are mutually dependent on each other. It allows your body to tap into its own incredible self-healing capacity



I'm Nicole Kaleva



I have been practicing as a Bachelor degreed Registered Nurse since 2004. My passion in nursing has been in the field of neuroscience. My own health journey and practical experience with IMT led me to opening Healing IMT and Bodywork.

While practicing as a registered nurse I cared for a person that had a liver and seizure disorder. The medical team had ineffective solutions for controlling the seizures due to the liver not being able to process the drugs without causing more seizures. Consequently, the medical team offered hospice to this toddler. The family did not accept this solution and searched for alternative healing. They found IMT. As a result the patient lives today - in their 20s. As his nurse I was astounded at the results of the techniques. I opted to study to become an IMT practitioner. Additionally I personally, have struggled with my own health due to several rounds of antibiotics as an infant, glyphosate exposure while growing up, EBV virus and trauma. IMT has been a crucial part of my healing journey.

Through my practice of IMT I've been privileged to treat those with serious health challenges and seen them restored, having found healing. Others have chosen to develop new goals because of the success of these techniques.
